DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DIRECTORS

  • A Scholar in the Following Disciplines (Volunteers)

  • Hold Office For a Minimum of One (1) Year

  • Report to the VP of Community Relations

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Network with AAN's Officers to Assist with Projects. Projects are Defined as AAN's Initiatives and Community Projects.

    • Network with Professional Associations in the Designated Area of Expertise

      • Form Paid Speaking Opportunities For Scholars

      • Inform Scholars of Non Paid Speaking Opportunities

      • Find Funding for New Scholars

    • Network with Universities

      • Solicit All But Dissertations (ABD) to Return to College to Complete Doctorial Degree

      • Suggest to Universities' Leaders to Inform Learners to Update e-Bio

      • Connect Scholars Around The Globe 

    • Network with Alumni Associations' Representatives

      • Assist with Recruiting Masters Level Graduates to Enter a Doctoral Program

      • Assist with Locating "Lost" Alumni (i.e., ensure graduates are registered with their Alumni)

      • Assist with Finding Means To Pay or Lower Student Loans

      • Assist with Finding Fellowships For Postdoctoral Research
